Prof. F. Eser Özgencil, DVM

In 1987, she worked on ophthalmology at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Netherlands/Utrecht University.
In 2005, she led the establishment of the Equine Surgery Unit in Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine together with ÇESAV.
Between 2012-2015-2016, she gave a theoretical and applied ophthalmology seminar at the invitation of the Bulgarian Veterinary Medical Association.
In 2018, she served as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 'XVI National and II International Veterinary Surgery Congress' in Cyprus in cooperation with the Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
She was a member of Ankara University Health Culture and Sports Department Purchasing Commission / Dormitories Supervision Board.
She was a member of the Near East University Senate between 2013-2022.
Between 2014 and 2023, she served as the Head of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Near East University.
She worked as an executive and assistant researcher in TÜBİTAK, DPT, BAP supported projects.
She has 40 publications within the scope of SCI and in national/international refereed journals.
She has 53 presentations at national and international congresses.
She had 8 doctorate and 5 master's thesis advisors.
She made workshops and invited presentations in national and international arena.
She is the author of 2 chapters in the International Veterinary General Surgery book.
